Impacts of Phosphate Mining on Streamflow
|
Comprehensive
study funded by the Florida Institute of Phosphate Research utilizing single and double mass regression analyses of rainfall
and streamflow, satellite imagery, geographic information systems (GIS) and a detailed water budget to
delineate effects through the comparison of previously mined, actively
mined, and un-mined
watersheds.
This study covered a time-period of 1985-2000 for the satellite images and
1980-2000 (with some longer intervals) for the regression analyses.
