Schreuder, Inc. was contracted by CF Industries to do multiple tasks allCF_barrels.JPG (110025 bytes) leading to the installation and operation of their own AR&RP located on formerly mined lands.

The first step in this project was a pilot study to test the natural treatment of tailing sands in a small-scale barrel test.  The barrels were tested regularly for multiple water quality constituents as well asSchematic Design ARRP at South Pasture Mine Hardee Country 29.jpg (204442 bytes) bi-weekly for coliform.

Once this test was finished, a larger scale replica of the same process was set up on CF Industries properties using their water as the input.  Again, regular water quality testing was performed and reported.

The last stage is the operation of their own AR&RP on site.
